Garter belts have been around for a long time. They were invented to keep stockings up. Today, most of us no longer use them for socks. But we love how they look with bra and panty, adding an exciting unfamiliarity to ordinary lingerie sets.
A garter belt as an accessory can accentuate your waist and highlight your natural curves. Garter belt lingerie can elongate your legs like a pair of high heels, changing the overall proportion of the body.

How do you wear a lingerie garter belt?

This is a question we often get. You can check out our Youtube channel for a short instruction video. But it is easier than you think:
1. Wear your panty and bra first because once the garter belt and stockings are connected, it's difficult to wear the underwear over it.
2. Wear the garter belt like a normal belt with hooks on the backside. We like to keep the garter belt around the belly button, like high-waisted pants. The higher the garter belt, the longer your legs will appear.
3. Pull up your thigh-high stockings. Check out our accessory section if you need clarification on the length or matching color.
4. Adjust the garter straps to be long enough to reach the stocking without pulling down the garter belt.
5. Attach the garter clips. The ones on our lingerie need to be unclipped first. Put the rubber party inside your stock and slide the round button up the metal slot.

Can you wear garter belt without stockings?

Absolutely! You can wear a garter belt without stockings. In fact, we have some three-piece lingerie sets with thigh belt designs that are directly attached to the garter belts, and some can be worn with either hold-up stockings or elastic thigh bands. You can skip leg accessories and not attach the garter belt to anything! By wearing it around your waist, it already accentuates your curves.

How do I care for my Moxy lingerie?

Machine wash: Use a cold wash cycle to protect delicate fabrics and preserve colors. Always place your lingerie in a mesh washing bag to prevent straps from tangling or lace from snagging.

Drying: Never tumble dry! Lay flat or hang to air dry. Heat can damage elastic, shrink fabrics, and fade those beautiful embroidered details.

Extra care tips:

  • Close any hooks before washing to avoid snags
  • Wash similar colors together
  • Skip the bleach and harsh detergents—mild soap is your friend
  • For hand-embroidered or heavily embellished pieces, hand washing is even better
