The color everyone underestimates—until they try it.

Blue lingerie is fresh, unexpected, and absolutely stunning. Moxy's collection ranges from dreamy baby blue lace sets perfect for "something blue" wedding traditions, to deep cobalt florals that demand attention, navy satin with rhinestone studs, cornflower mesh bodysuits, and even seashell mermaid-inspired pieces. We're talking embroidered flowers, pearl chain details, leg straps with garter belts, silk ruffled bralettes, and satin robes that photograph like a dream.

Light blue feels romantic and bridal without the pressure of stark white. Cobalt and navy bring bold, sophisticated energy. In-between shades like cornflower and periwinkle? Pure magic. Blue works beautifully for honeymoons (pack it alongside your white pieces for variety), anniversaries, beach vacations, or anytime you want lingerie that feels a little different from the usual black-red-white rotation.

At Moxy, we believe blue lingerie is one of the most underrated choices out there—calming, confident, and surprisingly versatile. Try it once, and you'll understand why it's become a quiet favorite in so many lingerie drawers.

Can blue lingerie count as my "something blue" for the wedding?

Absolutely! Blue lingerie is one of the most popular ways to honor the "something blue" tradition—it's personal, stays close to you all day, and doubles as your wedding night look. Light blue lace or a baby blue set feels romantic and special without anyone else knowing it's there until you're ready. Win-win!

Is blue lingerie appropriate for a honeymoon, or is it too casual?

Blue is one of the most romantic colors out there—soft, calming, and perfect for honeymoon vibes. Navy, baby blue, cornflower—they all feel dreamy and intimate, not casual at all. Think of it as an alternative to classic white with way more personality. Your honeymoon, your rules!

I want to gift my fiancée blue lingerie for our honeymoon. How do I pick the right shade?

Easy rule: if she loves soft, feminine looks, go for baby blue or pastel. If her style is bolder, try cobalt or navy. Florals and lace in blue always read as romantic (never casual), so a sheer floral set or embroidered bra-and-panty is perfect for honeymoons.

Pro tip: when in doubt, size up—comfort beats tight every time!

Is the embroidered detailing on blue lingerie itchy? I have sensitive skin.

It depends on quality! Cheap synthetic lace can feel scratchy, but our embroidered sets use sheer mesh as a base that's breathable and gentle. Look for pieces where the embroidery sits on the outer layer rather than directly against your skin. And always hand-wash to keep everything soft—your skin will thank you!

Does blue lingerie work under a white wedding dress, or will it show through?

Light blue and white are close enough that baby blue usually won't show through most wedding fabrics. Darker blues (cobalt, navy) can show under thin or ivory gowns, though, so test it at a fitting first! A light blue seamless thong is your safest bet for under-the-dress wear—save the gorgeous detailed set for the big reveal later.

How do I care for my Moxy lingerie?

Machine wash: Use a cold wash cycle to protect delicate fabrics and preserve colors. Always place your lingerie in a mesh washing bag to prevent straps from tangling or lace from snagging.

Drying: Never tumble dry! Lay flat or hang to air dry. Heat can damage elastic, shrink fabrics, and fade those beautiful embroidered details.

Extra care tips:

  • Close any hooks before washing to avoid snags
  • Wash similar colors together
  • Skip the bleach and harsh detergents—mild soap is your friend
  • For hand-embroidered or heavily embellished pieces, hand washing is even better

Taking a few extra minutes to care for your lingerie means it'll keep making you feel gorgeous for years to come!

What sizes does Moxy lingerie come in?

Most of our lingerie is available in S, M, and L sizes. Select styles are also available in XL, 2XL, 3XL, and 4XL for extended sizing options.

We use flexible sizing instead of traditional numeric bra measurements, making it easier to find your perfect fit. Check the size chart on each product page for specific measurements—availability varies by style.

Pro tip: Our fabrics have natural stretch, especially pieces with lace and embroidered details. If you're between sizes, consider whether you prefer a closer or more relaxed fit!
